One Direction

One Direction is a British boy band that was formed in 2010 on the popular UK television show “The X Factor” where they placed 3rd overall in the shows 7th season. The group then signed multi million dollar contract with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Records in the UK and are signed with Columbia Records in North America. One Direction is being hailed as leading the way for the new british pop music invasion in the United States.
